本首聖詩歸於聖安波羅修，用於時辰祈禱之中用於第二週和第四周的主日晚禱。這首以「Iam sol recedit igneus」標題，用於《羅馬日課經》平日禮拜六的晚禱以及三一主日的晚禱。
